Pre-votación (5%) | Máximo 500 puntos: Vote through STARPASS app (Fri 8pm KST – Mon 2pm KST) 

Transmisión (15%) | Máximo 1,500 puntos: The number of times the song has been played on SBS MTV (TV)

Voto en vivo (10%) | Máximo 1,000 puntos: For 1st place nominees only. Vote through STARPASS app

  • Digital, Física, SNS, transmisión se recopilan desde el sábado (10 días antes de la transmisión hasta el viernes (4 días antes de la transmisión)

  •  OST, CF single & songs that won 3 weeks (Triple Crown) are excluded

  • Tips: To not get 0 digital points, the song needs to be in Top 150 Weekly on at least 1 chart

  • The song needs to be in TOP 200 WEEKLY chart of at least 1 chart to be eligible

  • Song that is ranked on Music Bank for the 1st week will not get Viewer’s Committee score

Broadcast (10%)* | Maximum 1,000 points: The number of times the song has been played on MBC TV/Radio (TV)

Live-voting (5% + 5%)* | Maximum 500 + 500 points: For 1st place nominees only. Vote through text message / Genie app

  • *Data is collected from Monday (12 days before broadcast) to Sunday (5 days before broadcast)

  • **Tuesday 6 pm KST (4 days before broadcast) to Thursday 11 am KST (2 days before broadcast)

  • Only one song per artist is allowed to be included in the chart
