On Thursday, August 5th 2021, Sihyeon held a Vlive with Forevers to celebrate her 23rd birthday (22, international age). During the Vlive, she spent her time decorating a red velvet cake with Forevers who joined the live session. She also called the other members and showed off her cake to them.
Sihyeon also reminded the fans to wait until 8PM KST, intriguing the fans to find out what it is all about. As it turned 8PM in South Korea, EVERGLOW Official YouTube channel released a video of Sihyeon’s cover of Katy Perry’s Birthday as a surprise for the fans. The three minutes and 47 seconds video showcased Sihyeon’s lovely voice as she serenaded to Forevers on her birthday. The video seems to be self-recorded by Sihyeon inside her room and the company’s rooftop, turning it into a retro montage to accompany her singing cover.
Forevers all around the world have been celebrating her birthday through the hashtag #HAPPY_SIHYEON_DAY on all platforms, wishing our leader Sihyeon the happiest birthday.
